We have built three homes in the last six years. JD Carlson Group in conjunction with Raymond Drake Construction have by far been the most professional, accommodating, and pleasant group of people to work with. With there knowledge of products, patience for decision making, and overall pre-construction process, a worry free environment was created. We had an excellent experience with Drake Homes. We chose one of their stock plans and customized it to suit our needs and desires. Ray Drake listened to our ideas and made his own suggestions, but never pressured us into anything. We were able to subcontract plenty of work ourselves, allowing even more customization and still keep within our budget. The subcontractors and the service guys were always lite, friendly and helpful. We freely recommend them to people all the time. Our only problem...by the time we were done making our changes, the house didn't fit on our lot! Not Drakes fault, but our own! It was an easy fix.

Drake Homes had a great lot in Delano which we purchased. We modified one of their home designs and they built it to fit our needs with great craftsmanship. Drake Construction is a great company and we would recommend then to anyone.

When my husband and I started to look for a home, we started the most traditional way. We drove around the neighborhood to see what was on the market. We looked at many new houses and floor plans, none of which met our expectations until we ran into the Schreiber's at one of Raymond Drake's models. After explaining the whole process and seeing the different floor plans, impressed with the quality and given their knowledge we decided to build our new home with Raymond Drake.

Once the process started, it went extremely smooth. We heard of-course all the horror stories from other people we knew that built with other builders. We really actually never ran into any of that. Ray has an unbelievable way of managing the whole process. He has been doing this for awhile, you can tell that once the work had begun. Having his realtors answer all our questions throughout the building process cuts down on unnecessary worrying. By doing it this way we could call them and actually reach a person and get answers right away.
We couldn't be happier with our decision to build and to choose Ray as our builder.
